Ritual Union is my new favorite song. I've been listening to Little Dragon since Swimming, and they have really come into their own. This new song is like ethereal Amy Winehouse jazz with a little electro hidden in there. I love Yukimi's voice. You would have never guessed that, that awesome voice came out of that little Japanese-Swedish body.

IHop has created a meal obviosly sent from God. IT IS AMAZING!! One of the few dishes that truly live up to the enticing pictures. As one who'd prefer salts over sweets, I am beyond IMPRESSED! Just imagine a mouthful of a cheesecake crusted with the most delightfully sweet cake covered in strawberries, whipped cream, & a drizzle of strawberry syrup...my mouth is watering! Lil Wayne's 'How To Love' video is officially in my top five for 2011. The song delivers an extremely important message on love. The video shows the different sides to life when one grows up in a stable environment versus an environment where there is no real love only lust and abuse. Wayne, I AM SOOOOO PROUD OF YOU! Seriously man, you did it. Only God knows how many lives you will
touch with this song/video. The way I see it, if he changes one life with this, then mission complete. =)
It's my mom's favorite drink. (Don't tell her I told you guys that.) It's sweet, and it'll have you drunk in no time because you drank so many.
Here's how you make it:
2 part Blue Curacao
1 part Sour Mix
1 part Orange Juice
1 part Pineapple Juice
1 part Smirnoff Vodka, preferably triple distilled (make it 2 parts, if you want)
Shake with ice, and pour in a cool glass. Add fruit slice garnishments.

Pictured above is the latest dedication to the late great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The 30 ft. statue is located in the center of a memorial dedicated to Reverend King in the National Mall in Washington. The memorial is four acres large. Today this grand place is open to the public. There is mild controversy over the 'black' leader's statue being sculpted by a 'chinese' man. I'm not going to get into details but I will say this, it was Dr. King's dream for people to only judge a man by his character. Anyway, I honor the great Martin Luther King Jr. for his courage to have such a dream in the day and time he lived. I am thankful that he lived and so should everyone in America. May his legend continue to live on through his new memorial and this blog post. =)

I know that in the South there is no such thing as Fall. There is just heat, hurricane season (which lasts like half the year), and in winter, an occasional cool breeze.
However, I grew up in Delaware, so I remember Fall in great detail. Fall is the best season. I mean, seriously, I could go on forever about all the stellar things that happen in the Fall like state fairs (Greater Gulf State Fair, for us); the start of boyfriend season (got to have a boo in time for Christmas); and season premieres on all the best shows. My two favorites are Gossip Girl and Bones. I'm such a well-rounded individual.
Yet, the most important thing about Fall is...Fashion. For one, the alliteration is advertising gold, and two, Fall is when the most important week in fashion takes place. Hello, Fashion Week.
Fall is a versatile season. It's not too cold, it's not hot either. It's the perfect season to try new things. I'm thinking about playing with bright colors and patterns this season, which is subject to change. Ooh, I almost forgot...BOOTS! Start buying them now because come September everyone will be trying to work the same boot. At least, you can say you did it first.
So go forth and shop for Fall and dust off your "skills" for boyfriend season.

I absolutely looooove Nicki Minaj and Ice Age 1, 2, and 3 so i'm definitely anticipating the 4th one. Ice Age 4 is said to be in theaters July 2012.

This shoe is the hottest thing I've seen to date for FALL. I saw them on net-a-porter.com. I WANT THEM! I would physically harm (not kill) someone for this boot. It goes with everything, which is my favorite quality. I am so beside myself over this shoe.
