Things We Fancy: LITA BOOTS

Jeffrey Campbell struck fashionista gold when he came up with these. To the untrained eye, they look like regular platform lace-ups, but that's why it's called "the UNTRAINED eye." These shoes started the JC epidemic (that's highly contagious by the way). It's all about the constant re-invention of this shoe every few months to keep the fever high.

Because of that, girls collect these boots like Beanie Babies. Some pairs even have code names.

Starting at $160 a pair, the fashionably educated can get their hoard on. They come in every fabric, pattern, and theme known to man. (See my favorites below.) JC made sure there was a pair to make every girl feel special. So, go get yourself a  pair because diamonds are nice, but everyone knows shoes are a girl's best friend.
