Things We Fancy: Tokidoki Barbie, whoa.

Everyone is in a frenzy over Ms. Perfect getting tatted up. I saw her on the Nylon Magazine website, and personally, I love her. Barbie is one of my idols (weird right?) and now, she has more tattoos than you and I combined. Pink hair! Not to mention a kick-ass dog in a really kick-ass cactus looking costume.

My Christmas list just got upgraded.

Due out in October, I have a feeling this is going to be like Missoni for Target all over again.

Things We Fancy: New JC Wedge Boots @ Solestruck

Are these not sexy? I mean, are these not sexy?! I want them. NOW.

Okay, I was on the Solestruck blog not too long ago. By the way, Solestruck is my favorite shoe store period. I love them and their blog. Anyway, they got samples in from Jeffrey Campbell, and this bad mother-shut yo mouth was in that little sea of righteous. You guys know how I feel about shoes. I love them more than boys, more than sex, and sometimes...more than food. I am totally serious.

I can't wait until these beauties go on the shelves. I wear an 8 1/2 - 9, so if anyone gets the last one and I'm there, prepared to be tackled like Peyton Manning at the Super Bowl. Word.

It's Tattoo Tuesday!

Today's post is brought to you by the letter M.

For Music.

Follow the flaming microphone chord...

...it leads to his heart. That's devotion.

This tattoo is simple yet very detailed. The heartbeat across the chest (I don't know the actual term. I'm not a doctor.) is very clever. However, what really strikes me is the input socket. Notice "input" instead of "output." Music gives him the energy. How deep you gotta be?

Once again, another really righteous tattoo done by the great Medusa.

Now, my next question is, does this now make him a robot?
See, I can be deep too.

And Boyfriend Season Begins....

Now that bikinis and summer flings are out and high-waist jeans with man-candy are in, thus begins the quest for love and companionship otherwise known as BOYFRIEND SEASON.

Women outnumber men.
 (Google that.)
How ruthless you gotta be girl?

Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. Every heterosexual femme at least internally knows about the boo'ed up solstice, the relationship status equinox, Boyfriend Season. Colder weather equals less free love, aka flings, because...well...it's too cold for that nonsense. People have jobs and school now. Summer is over. So, what do you do? You want to actually go places besides the beach and the club like...I don't know...a restaurant that has legit plates and the movies to see those last installments of Twilight. The big holidays are coming up (Thanksgiving, Christmakwanahanzakah, New Year's, and the uber-competitive Valentine's Day). One must find a mate by Halloween or risk loneliness for the rest of the year.

Boyfriend season is to insure that you have a consistent date to all these holiday events and someone to receive gifts from that you can brag about to your friends. Good looking men are scarce, and boyfriend season can be highly competitive. To increase your chances of finding a mate by Halloween, I suggest you go to as many parties and sporting events as possible. Boost that self-esteem and talk to that guy that works at that Abercrombie in mall. Get to know the guy that sits next to you in chemistry, or the dude your always bumping into in the laundry room. Because, if you don't, some other chick is going to get something really good from that guy for Christmas. So, flip that hair, bat those lashes, put on your good lip gloss and wear those jeans that make your butt look awesome. This is not a game. Like I said before, good looking guys are scarce this year.

So, don't be shy. It's Boyfriend Season.

Guy ya Wanna 'Hump' Day! ft: Big Sean

Who is Big Sean?? He's one of this years hottest rappers. Small guy with a BIG ego! Isn't he just the cauuuutest!? He can giggiddy get it! Big Sean is the creator of the hit single "I Do It" from his debut album "Finally Famous". His lyrics are just as flirtatious as his smile...here's my latest Big Sean obsession: "A**" It's my favorite song to work-out & shake it to! Thank me later. =)

It's Tattoo Tuesday! Creepy or Cute Edition

Check this out. Don't be scared.

Bejeweled, zombie panda bear.
It's a Day of the Dead (or Dia de los Muertos in Espanol) Panda Bear. Day of the Dead is where the people of Mexico celebrate their deceased love ones. It's celebrated on November 1st and 2nd every year. I found this tattoo on the inter-web, and I'm obsessed with it. I personally think it's cute (Pandas are my favorite.) with all the filigree and jewels, but the teeth freak me out. I don't remember panda bears having vampire teeth, but I don't have the best memory in the world right now. The lips creep me out as well like this panda had an allergic reaction to bamboo or something. But still, I am oddly fascinated with this tattoo.

Cheers to the Freakn' Weekend: "Cirocan Juice"

Ever had a thirst but couldn't quite put your finger on exactly what it is you wanted to quench it?? I have the perfect solution! Ciroc & juice (or as my colleagues & I like to call it Cirocan Juice)! I want to say thanks to P. Diddy for this smooth & sophisticated drink, first off. Secondly I would like to thank Sean Combs for this beautiful intoxicating beverage. Last but not least I would like to thank mother nature for her blessed fruit & fruit drinks. Now what could be better than 2 really awesome things?? The combination of 2+ really awesome things!! So you're going to want to get a bottle of Ciroc, a bottle/can of your favorite juice/s; pour, mix, then add ice your CIROCAN JUICE!!....ENJOY!

Fashionista Nail Time: She Calls It Splat. I Call It Deco Disco.

As you all should know by now, I fancy myself a recreational nail artist (emphasis on recreational). When this recreational nail artist is bored, I get on Youtube and watch random nail design tutorials. Why? Mostly because I have issues, and I probably need professional help. Don't judge me.
Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, I discovered something new to do to my impractically long nails.

LOOK.

She's calls it color splat, but this looks nothing like a splat. This design is more like stained glass or art deco.

Now, here is my version.

My version. Ignore the cleaning products in the background.

Wallpaper background. Ha!

Personally, I like mine better. Not because of my outrageously high self-esteem, but because mine are more linear (you know straight). Hers was curved which is nice for square nails, but I have sharp rounds and the length that extends from the skin is longer so I did more than half like two-thirds. I also did not use acrylic paint because I have way too many colors to go buy some finger-paint. I didn't do the extra dots either. Don't need it. I did do the glitter base coat though, even if you can barely see it.

Overall, this is pretty easy but time consuming, so if you're sitting on your ass not doing anything like me, you should try it and send me photos.

xoxo
